LEARNING FROM LEADERS - EPISODE SEVEN

ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Peter Wade is one of the world’s most accomplished stockbrokers and investment bankers. At the age of 30, Peter became the President of J.B. and under his leadership, was rated as the #1 Australian stockbroking firm in that market. He later transferred to London to head the European business and oversaw changes that led to it also being rated as the #1 Australian firm in the EU. After 25 years with J.B.Were and Goldman Sachs, Peter joined J.P.Morgan in Australia with management responsibility for its global Australian Equities business; he was also a member of the JPMorgan Australian Board and its 40% owned subsidiary, Ord Minnett. More recently he was hired by Australia’s largest bank, the Commonwealth Bank, to design the strategy for — and initiate — its entry into the wholesale equities market.
