Our ninth entrepreneur episode features David Abbott, an award-winning international marketing speaker, and author, talking about the psychology of pricing. His journey started at Oxford where he read Engineering Science and Economics and then went through working as an electronics design engineer before moving into marketing and then running a number of different businesses. Much of marketing can be considered applied psychology, so he has always been fascinated by how we make decisions, particularly pricing decisions. He has written a book about the topic, ‘How to Price Your Platypus’, and speaks to business audiences around the world about how to improve their prices.
